MOVIES
| | I come from
a theatrical family. My parents met while appearing together in a play, my
mother belongs to three actor’s unions (SAG, AFTRA, and Equity), and my
  brother is a Director/Producer. (Also a writer/editor/actor – working in low
budget films he gets to be Munchkin-of-all-trades.) Some of my own credits
  appear online at IMDB,
the  Internet Movie Data Base, where I
am listed as Jake Jacobs II (we are up to VI), and improperly credited with Best
of the Best II.      Acting On the Right Track 1980 – Starring Gary Coleman. I was an extra, briefly
visible in an airport scene. American Dream 1980 – I was an extra, not visible, in this pilot for a
short lived TV series about a family moving to the city from the suburbs. Dance or Die 1987 – As Hasbro the psychic I had a motorcycle chase scene that
culminated in my head exploding from the close range impact of a .45 slug.
Stunt rider, stunt head, but my then girlfriend loved it, and would rewind
the tape over and over to see my faceplate gouting blood.      Production Dance or Die 1987 – Gofer, every bit as glamorous as it sounds. My triumph was
tracking down a box of turtles, chocolate covered nut candies that were intended
to be an onscreen “clue.” Unfortunately, the star ate them, so we had to use
stunt candy. Ring of Fire 1991
  – 2nd Assistant Director, a gofer with a better title and a
walkie-talkie. Both the male and the female leads had topless scenes, so even
if we had turtles their managers wouldn’t have let them eat any.      Scripts – Filmed      Scripts – Available for Option | |
